upstage productions
Upstage Productions was founded in 1990 by Shirley Bull with our first-ever production – an adaptation of A. A Milne ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’ – touring the country for a year to sell-out audiences and critical acclaim.
Since then we have produced popular and well-loved child-friendly touring productions including ‘Paddington Bear’, ‘Budgie the little helicopter’ and many more.
We have also become the pantomime producer at The Radlett Centre in Hertfordshire and over 20 years in residence have presented popular traditional pantomime classics such as Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Dick Whittington, Beauty and the Beast, Jack and the Beanstalk, Snow White and of course the magical Cinderella.

The Radlett Centre is a Theatre, Comedy and Music Venue located in the heart of Hertfordshire – pun absolutely intended!
We have been the jewel in their annual schedule for over 10 years providing their Christmas pantomime. Regularly a sell-out show with Emma Bunton attending each year when her children were pantomime age.
The Radlett Centre is a beautiful space with a 300 seater theatre and live orchestra pit, which is something we cherish greatly in an off west-end theatre space of this size, we intend to be part of the theatre’s performance schedule furniture for many years to come.
